What We Do
HB Insulations provides specialist asbestos services to businesses, property owners, estates teams, public-sector organisations, housing providers, developers and contractors across the UK.
From a single commercial property or planned maintenance requirement to a large-scale, phased and technically complex asbestos project, we provide the same disciplined approach to safety, planning, communication and delivery.
Established in 1985, HB has over 40 years of specialist asbestos experience. As an HSE-licensed asbestos removal contractor, we undertake both licensed and non-licensed asbestos work, supported by three years of ARCA Gold recognition for consistently high standards of site performance.
Our commercial services include asbestos surveys and sampling, licensed and non-licensed removal, remediation, encapsulation, decontamination, asbestos waste and disposal, consultancy and emergency asbestos response.

Larger Projects
For larger projects, our teams can plan and deliver complex asbestos packages involving multiple work areas, licensed materials, specialist enclosures, phased programmes, difficult access, significant waste movements and interfaces with other contractors.

Major Projects
We understand that on major projects, asbestos removal is rarely the only activity taking place. Our role is therefore not simply to remove asbestos. We work with the wider project team to understand the programme, sequencing, access requirements and next stages of construction, refurbishment or demolition so that the asbestos works support the overall project.

Review, Plan & Assess
This can include early review of survey information, planning of asbestos enabling works, risk assessments and plans of work, statutory notifications where required, controlled work areas, decontamination arrangements, waste routes and coordination with independent analytical services.
